Jason Aldean’s upcoming fifth studio album is off to a racing start with its lead single “Take A Little Ride” entering the Billboard country songs chart at No. 19 this week to become his highest career single debut.   The song has 116 stations on board a week before its official add date.  Additionally, Billboard predicts that the single's brisk sales will make history as the biggest debut ever for a digital song by a male country artist with projections approaching 200,000 downloads for Wednesday's chart.

"I am honestly just blown away," said Aldean.  "I had a whole year of 'firsts' last year…things like my first arena tour selling out and taking home my first CMA awards, but I still feel like I've got a long way to go, so having two more 'firsts' come this week is really exciting for me.  I love this single, and there are 14 more songs that I'm really proud of coming right behind it!"

Aldean continues to sell out his 2012 My Kinda Party Tour at dizzying speeds, taking only 30 seconds to sell out the 20,000 seat Blossom Music Center in Cleveland (9/7) and just four minutes to move 20,000 tickets at Dallas’ Gexa Energy Pavilion (10/27) over the weekend.  The week before, fans snatched over 44,000 tickets in four minutes when his St. Louis (9/14) and Indianapolis, IN (9/15) shows went on sale.  Aldean has sold out every date so far this year and now counts his first stadium sellout in Columbus, OH (9/5).
