The most awarded country group in the past decade, Rascal Flatts, has yet another reason to celebrate. Their current album, Changed, was released last month and has already been certified Gold by the RIAA for sales exceeding 500,000. The accolade comes just after topping country radio charts in both the United States and Canada with “Banjo,” their 14th career No.1 single.

If history – or the initial reviews – are any indication, their follow-up ballad, “Come Wake Me Up,” will begin climbing the charts as it goes for adds on Monday. According to MusicRow, “this lustrous ballad has it all — a gorgeous melody, terrific audio dynamics, emotional lyrics, towering vocals, pop-crossover potential. In short, the second single from the group’s new Changed CD is a home run.”

“We are so appreciative of the many blessings our fans and Country radio have given us. This is another amazing accomplishment that we’re able to celebrate because of so many others’ loyalty. Thank you!” said Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts.

The Big Machine Records’ Supergroup debuted their eighth studio album, Changed, at No.1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. The project, produced by Dann Huff and Rascal Flatts, features five songs written by the members of the band and has garnered praise from the Associated Press, New York Times, NPR, USA Today and more.

Rascal Flatts are currently nominated for the 2012 CMT Music Awards’ “Group of the Year” for their “Banjo” video. Fans have the opportunity to vote now through June 4 at www.cmt.com and the results will be revealed on CMT, live from Nashville, Wednesday, June 6.

They are also currently nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category of “Choice Country Group.” The awards will air on FOX on July 22. Fans can vote for the group at www.TeenChoiceAwards.com

The band has sold over 21 million albums and 25 million digital downloads since their musical debut in 2000. Rascal Flatts have earned over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People's Choice Awards and more.

Selling over 6 million concert tickets, and counting, they are easily one of the hottest-selling acts on tour in any genre. They will kick off their summer tour, Farmers Insurance Presents “Changed Tour,” with Little Big Town, and Big Machine Label Group labelmates Eli Young Band and Edens Edge on June 15 in Hartford, CT.
