Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" Debuts At No.1 On Canada’s Country & All-Genre Charts

Carrie Underwood’s fourth album, Blown Away, debuts at No. 1 on Canada’s Top 100 Country and Top 200 all-genre sales charts this week. Upon its debut, Blown Away was immediately certified Gold in Canada. Blown Away also debuted at No. 1 on the US sales charts this week. This is Underwood’s best first week in Canada across all previous albums. Its first single, "Good Girl," has shot to No. 2 on the Canadian country charts and is also certified Gold. The album also debuted at No. 4 on the ARIA Album Chart this week giving Carrie her best first week showing in Australia.
 
In support of the release of Blown Away, Underwood is scheduled for multiple upcoming television appearances in both the US and Canada. On Tuesday, May 15 she’ll perform on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
 
On Wednesday, May 16 she heads to Canada for two jam-packed days of radio, print, online and TV interviews and appearance, and then heads back to the US to perform on The Billboard Music Awards on May 20, airing live on ABC from Las Vegas.
 
Underwood will bring her recently announced tour, “The Blown Away Tour,” to Australia and the UK in June, and then across arenas in the U.S. and Canada this fall, wrapping in December.
 
Underwood currently leads the nominations for the upcoming CMT Music Awards with five. She is a five-time Grammy winner, a two-time Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, a three-time Country Music Association and ACM Female Vocalist winner, and a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry.
