The reigning and two-time ACM and CMA Female vocalist of the year, Miranda Lambert, has topped the country singles chart for the fourth time in her career with her current single, “Over You.” Miranda wrote the emotionally charged song with her husband Blake Shelton which addresses the passing of Blake’s brother when he was a teenager. The song has been certified Gold, and is from her current album, Four The Record, which is also Gold.

On writing with her husband, Miranda says, “I think the key is we sort of pick and choose what we want to do together as artists because we don’t ever want the business to get in the way of our personal relationship. So when we write together, we kind of step away from being husband and wife, and we just become artists that respect each other. And it’s a really good relationship, and I think doing that every now and then and keeping it special is what makes it work.”
