The year 2012 brings a unique concert experience for country fans: a collaboration by Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. Their "Brothers of the Sun" tour consists of 19 stadium shows, beginning Saturday, June 2, in Tampa, Fla.
"Tim and I have been great friends since we first toured together, and I can't wait to get back on the road with him," says Kenny. "He's one of my closest friends in music and in life, and I know this tour is going to be something special."
Kenny and Tim have not toured together for 10 years, and the pair is eager for the reunion, which will also feature special guests Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen.
"Our friendship was forged on the road, so it's going to be a blast heading out with Kenny again," says Tim. "We'll be having as much fun on stage as the fans will be having in the audience."
Kenny's recent "Goin' Coastal" Tour was a mega success, reaching 1.3 million fans. Tim's 2010 tour was the biggest country tour that year, so there is no doubt that the Kenny/Tim combo is sure to be a hit.
