Glen Campbell Will Be Honored at CMA Awards

Former CMA Entertainer of the Year, Glen Campbell, will be honored at this year's CMA Awards by three former recipients of the same award - Brad Paisley (reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year), Vince Gill and Keith Urban.
 
Glen, who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005, won both CMA Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year in 1968. Glen is famous for his singing and guitar-playing. He is known for hit songs such as, "Wichita Lineman," By the Time I Get to Phoenix," Gentle On My Mind," "Galveston," "Southern Nights," and "Rhinestone Cowboy."
 
He is also recognized for his acting, including his part in the John Wayne film, "True Grit." Glen's career is extensive and admirable.This year, he announced that he is battling Alzheimer's disease. He is touring now and has released his last album, Ghost on the Canvas.
 
So, in order to pay tribute to Glen and his impressive life, Brad, Vince and Keith will perform in his honor live Nov. 9 on ABC.
