In order to raise money for the Children's Organ Transplant Association, GRAMMY-winner Jerry Douglas will perform a special holiday show, "Jerry Christmas," on Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Franklin Theatre. The concert will honor Witt "Baby Witt" Deane, a local child who received a heart transplant last year.
"One hundred percent of the profits from the "Jerry Christmas" concert will assist with transplant-related expenses," says Shari Lacy, the event PR chair.
Tickets for the November event are on sale now through the Franklin Theatre website, www.franklintheatre.com. The evening will include a show featuring songs from Jerry's album, Jerry Christmas!, plus a special video about "Baby Witt's" story.
