Vince Gill Releases First Album in Five Years

 Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill released his first new studio album in five years yesterday in both its standard and deluxe editions. To help launch the release, Gill will make a series of national television and high-profile concert appearances over the next few weeks performing selections from the album, Guitar Slinger.

 
Along with the release, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean declared “Vince Gill Week” on Oct. 13 and celebrated the occasion with a party at the Bridgestone Arena.
 
Gill’s last album was relased in 2005 and won a best country album Grammy.
 
The itinerary for the Guitar Slinger shows is as follows:
