ICM Paints Nashville Pink

In order to benefit the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition, the Inspirational Country Association will be "Turning Nashville Pink" at the end of October. Also, on Oct. 28, the Schermerhorn Symphony Center will house the ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards presentation.

During Inspirational Music Week (October 24-30), Nashville businesses will proudly display pink. And the state capitol will be lit up in pink all week for the cause.

"My own mother is a two-time survivor of this devastating disease which now affects one out of eight women nationally," says Jason Higgins, ICM-Association Executive Director. "From our platform of having the ability to engage music and major name artists with the meaningful aspects of a vital humanitarianism cause that would benefit Middle Tennessee, we felt our efforts to 'Paint Nashville Pink' would be an extremely meaningful addition to this year's ICM-Association events."

Artists scheduled to perform during Inspirational Music Week include The Roys, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Point of Grace, Guy Penrod, Jeff Bates and Buddy Jewell. The 17th annual ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards will air live on on Oct. 28.
