It has been a big year for Jason Aldean. The country star’s latest album My Kinda Party has gone double platinum and produced four hit singles. He is tied for the highest number of nominations at this year’s CMA Awards and holds the title for top selling country album of the year. As if all this wasn’t enough, his 2011 My Kinda Party tour has been so successful over the past few months that he has decided to add a second leg of the tour in 2012. Until now, the only announced concert date was Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on February 24, which sold out in a matter of minutes.

“I never want this year to end,” Jason said. “This has been the best year of my career, and our shows just keep getting bigger and better, so we're just going to take the party on into the new year.” Of his opening act, Luke Bryan, Jason says, “Luke and I are really good friends…we hang out on our off days, we hunt and fish together, and we love to play music to our fans. It's gonna be a blast."

The current leg of his tour will end on October 28 in San Diego, CA, and the 2012 leg will pick up in January. A number of cities have been announced already, and more will follow in the coming weeks.
