In the 90-minute special, "CMT Artists of the Year," CMT will honor Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift. The show will premier Dec. 13 and will feature several performances from various artists.
The artist were chosen based on music and concert sales, airplay on country radio and activity on CMT.com (video streams, artist page views and searches). The top five artists were chosen to make up CMT's Artists of the Year.
"CMT Artists of the Year" is an event that combines live music, a celebratory dinner and country music's most popular tickets for a night of fun and excitement.
