Country superstar Jason Aldean does what he can to support breast cancer awareness. He held his sixth annual “Concert for the Cure” on Friday in Roanoke, Va. Profits from the concert were donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Aldean packed the Roanoke Civic Center and raised $315,000 on the eve of breast cancer awareness month.

"This is one of my favorite things we do all year, and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for Komen," says Aldean. "All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can't afford it. We'll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it. October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!"
