CMA Awards Announces Performers

All five nominees for CMA's Entertainer of the Year will be performing at "The 45th Annual CMA Awards" on Nov. 9. The five performers include Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Keith Urban. Taylor, Brad, Blake and Jason have each garnered five nominations this year, making them the top CMA-nominated artists.
 
Brad, who has garnered 57 nominations in his lifetime, has been nominated for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album (This Is Country Music), Musical Event and Music Video of the Year ("Old Alabama").
 
Jason has been nominated for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album (My Kinda Party), Single and Musical Event of the Year ("Don't You Wanna Stay" with Kelly Clarkson).
 
Blake is CMA's current Male Vocalist of the Year, and he has been nominated for the title again this year, along with Entertainer, Album (All About Tonight), Single and Music Video of the Year ("Honey Bee").
 
Keith, who was Entertainer of the Year in 2005,  once won Male Vocalist for three years in a row (2004-2006). He has been nominated for both awards again this year.
 
Taylor was Entertainer of the Year in 2009 and won the Horizon Award in 2007. This year she has been nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist, Album (Speak Now), Music Video ("Mean") and Song of the Year (for writing "Mean"). Aside from her five nominations, Taylor may also win a trophy for co-producing her album. 
 
The ceremony will once again be hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, CMA's reigning Entertainer of the Year, and will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday, Sept. 24, and can be purchased via ticketmaster or by calling (800) 745-3000. Tickets will also be available at the Bridgestone Arena Box Office. For the last two years, tickets for the event sold out in advance, so be sure to get yours soon!
