9/25/2007 Stephen L. Betts Pam Tillis is releasing an eclectic holiday collection on Nov. 13. The aptly-titled Just in Time for Christmas is a mix of down-home country and uptown torch. “I just wanted to make a Christmas album as comfortable and familiar as your favorite winter sweater,” says Pam. The album will be released on Pam’s own Stellar Cat label, and will be a true Tillis family affair, featuring her dad, legendary songwriter Mel Tillis, as well as a number of her nieces and nephews providing backing vocals. With ten years of experience performing holiday shows, Pam says songs such as “Silent Night,” “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve,” “Pretty Paper,” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” have emerged as favorites for both her and her live audiences. The Christmas album follows closely on the heels of Pam’s latest, the critically-acclaimed Rhinestoned.
