A two-hour documentary honoring the 10th anniversary of 9/11 on A&E Biography Network entitled “When Pop Culture Saved America” will air on Monday, Sept. 5 at 8 PM/ET. Country music superstar Alan Jackson will be featured on the event for the effect “Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)” had on the nation. The special will focus on the days and months that followed the attacks on 9/11 and will show how the non-news media pitched in to bring the nation together.
Alan Jackson has sold nearly 60-million albums worldwide, has won numerous awards and is known for music that “celebrates the common man, speaks to generations and for our nation.”
