In order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the Washington National Cathedral will host A Call To Compassion. The three-day (September 9-11) event will feature performances by Alan Jackson, Patti LaBelle and mezzo soprano Denyce Graves. Jackson will  perform as a part of "A Concert For Hope."

Immediately after 9/11, the cathedral became a national place for mourning and prayer. It seems only right that after 10 years, people will gather again to remember those who were lost.

Through the Pentagon Channel, military men and women around the world will have access to the event. On Sunday, Sept. 11, "A Concert For Hope" will air nationwide. All events will be streamed online at www.calltocompassion.com.
