When two people who are stars in the own right come together to collaborate on a song, the result is nearly always a success. However, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood were merely hoping that fans would enjoy their duet on the song “Remind Me.” Neither one expected it to become such a hit so quickly.

The single has already been RIAA certified as Gold, with over 500,000 units sold. It is the third hit single from Brad’s album This Is Country Music, which is also certified Gold. The song also debuted in the Top 5 on both Billboard and Country Aircheck charts.

“When two of the format’s superstars partner on a song, it’s obviously going to be a hit,” said music journalist Deborah Evans Price in Billboard. “But, even George & Tammy and Conway & Loretta would be proud of these youngsters.”

The music video for “Remind Me” was directed by Robert Deaton and George Flanigan, and can be viewed on both the singers’ websites, bradpaisley.com and carrieunderwoodofficial.com, as well as other video outlets such as CMT and GAC.
