Trace Adkins To Host Second Annual American Country Awards

Trace-Adkins-2010
Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth will once again be hosting the American Country Awards, airing live from Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
Though it is only the second annual show, it is already gaining popularity because it is the only country awards show that allows fans to vote in non-traditional categories, such as touring, which allows all aspects of the business to be recognized. Nominees, performers, and presenters are to be announced.

The inaugural American Country Awards featured performances by Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton, Steel Magnolia, Josh Turner, The Band Perry and Uncle Kracker, as well as appearances by Laura Bell Bundy, Rodney Carrington, Jeff Dunham, Travis Pastrana, Jaron and The Long Road to Love, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Jennette McCurdy, Bret Michaels, Ty Murray, Jerrod Niemann, Michael Waltrip and Lee Ann Womack.

Trace and Kristin are two of the most accomplished performers in their respective businesses. Trace has sold over 10 million albums and has 15 Top Ten hits, including “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and “All I Ask For Anymore.” He has also appeared on TV’s Celebrity Apprentice and in the movie The Lincoln Lawyer. Kristin’s credits include the hit Broadway musicals Wicked and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, and an Emmy award winning role on the TV show Pushing Daisies.
