Kenny Chesney has once again proved his ability to pack a stadium. His August 13th show at New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey is the 28th sold-out show for his Goin’ Coastal tour, and fans are ready to rock out along with Kenny, Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker, and Billy Currington. It is also the highest selling country concert in the NY/NJ area since 1983, when fans flocked to Giants Stadium to see Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and Linda Ronstadt.

"When I first heard we'd be playing at the Meadowlands, I was ecstatic," Kenny said. "It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and will be an unforgettable evening for everyone involved."

But sold-out shows and screaming fans are nothing new to Kenny. Goin’ Coastal is already the highest grossing country tour of 2011, as well as his eighth consecutive concert tour to sell more than 1 million tickets. He has been praised as, "the biggest ticket seller in country music and among the elite touring artists in the world" by Billboard, while the St. Paul Pioneer Press says, "The Tennessee native delivered the same high-energy, fan-friendly show that made him the second-biggest selling live act of the past decade."
