Trace Adkins' New Album Hits Stores Tuesday

The wait for Trace Adkins' newest album, Proud To Be Here, is finally coming to a close. It will be available in stores Tuesday, August 2. For now, fans can stream the entire album through Adkins' Facebook page and at www.traceadkins.com. 
 
To accompany his highly anticipated release, Adkins will make several TV appearances throughout the week, starting with a performance of "Just Fishin" on The Today Show Tuesday. On Wednesday, Adkins will perform on Fox & Friends. On August 10, he will appear on Piers Morgan Tonight. Finally, he will talk on Chelsea Lately on August 11. 
 
All true Trace Adkins fan will also want to check out his appearance on the History Channel special, You Don't Know Dixie, where he will discuss the South and how it affected America and his life personally.
 
In September, Adkins will perform his sixth USO tour for the troops at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11. 
 
Proud To Be Here was recorded in the spring, and Adkins co-wrote many of the songs. The album's Deluxe Edition includes a song titled, "If I was a Woman," which is a humorous duet with Blake Shelton.
