The 17th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Bring Favorite Artists

The 17th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards will be held on October 28 this year, hosted by The Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Some of the country music artists that will join the stage for the awards ceremony include Lee Greenwood, Joey & Rory, and returning ‘ICM Faith, Family & Country Award' winners Ricky Skaggs and The Roys.

 
A special segment of the ceremony will feature Lee Greenwood and his patriotic songs to honor the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Greenwood has recorded more than 20 albums and his most recent, I Want You In My World, includes seven songs, two self-written that is set to release on July 25.
 
Inspirational Country artist, Ricky Skaggs latest album, Country Hits Bluegrass Style, will be released with 14 classic country songs recorded in bluegrass style on July 19. Skaggs is a multiple ICM award and he also holds 8 ACM Awards, 8 CMA Awards and 14 Grammy Awards.
 
Returning ICM winners, The Roys, most recent album Lonesome Whistle debuted at number seven on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts and their single, “Coal Minin’ Man” currently sits in the Top 10 in both the Bluegrass Unlimited and Bluegrass Music Profiles charts, and holds the #1 position on the Power Source Bluegrass Chart.
 
Joey & Rory gained their fans on the 2008 season of CMT’s Can You Duet. Their new album, Album Number Two, features songs of love, faith, cowboys, fame and the working man.
 
The Inspirational Country Music Awards will be hosted by Storme Warren and Megan Alexander and will be held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville.
