Dwight Yoakam Returns To Warner Bros. Records For New Album

 
After a decade away, multi-platinum GRAMMY winner, Dwight Yoakam, has returned to Warner Music Group. The legendary singer-songwriter began recorded his debut album, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., on Warner Music Group's Reprise Records label and has recorded 27 albums since then. 
 
Yoakam will release his first studio album in seven years on Warner Bros. Records. The album is expected for release in early 2012 and will be co-produced by Joe Chiccarelli along with Yoakam himself.
 
"I'm pleased to be back in partnership with Warner Music Group for the release of my new music," said Yoakam. "I'm excited about the enthusiasm they've expressed in the desire to once again be the conduit for my songs and recordings as well as the ensuing musical journey that it will take us on."
 

Yoakam has sold over 25 million albums- 12 of them making gold status, along with 9 platinum or multi-platinum albums. He has had 22 Top 20 hits, including his continuously popular hit, "Fast As You."
