Luke Bryan has struck Gold for the third time! His current single, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” has been certified Gold by the RIAA. The song was co-written with Dallas Davidson and is off Luke’s Tailgates and Tanlines album to be released August 9.
And he’s on a roll! “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” has become Luke’s fastest rising single of his career debuting at #1 in U.S. country digital single sales. And after his performance at the 2011 CMT Awards, Luke became the top-searched term on Google for that evening. He also appeared with the Doobie Brothers on CMT Crossroads which aired last week.
