Lady Antebellum Announces Release of Third Album

Lady-Antebellum-Win-Grammy-2011
Lady Antebellum will release their third Capitol Nashville studio album, Own The Night, on September 13, 2011. The album's lead single, "Just A Kiss," made it into the Top 15 on Billboard's Country Singles charts in only five weeks.

"We took more time to write and record this record than we've ever done before," says Charles Kelley. "I remember looking at Hillary and Dave at the GRAMMYS this year, on the wildest night of our lives, and saying, 'This is amazing…we'll never get to experience a moment like this again, but now we have to go home and get to work.'"

The band's second album, Need You Now, sold more than five million copies since its release in January 2010. The song, "Need You Now," won multiple awards in 2010, including Song of the Year and Single Record of the Year from the Academy of Country Music.

According to Hillary Scott, the song for which the third album gets it's name, "We Owned The Night," is about a "special, once-in-a-lifetime moment." The band hopes to create such a feeling for their fans with every performance.
