A new biographical exhibit is to be opened at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville for Chet Adkins. The exhibit will be called Chet Atkins: Certified Guitar Player.
The Gretsch Company, Adkins’ favorite guitar company throughout his career, presents the exhibit. It features Adkins’ long career as a guitarist, performer producer and record label executive.
In 1973, Chet was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He won 14 Grammys and died in 2001. It will run through June 2012.
